Specialized in high end CG and VFX for Advertising, TV, Print, digital, series, short and now long format films since its launch in 2006, MTC has consistently evolved their processes as VFX specialists with a strong emphasis on art direction, design and technique development.
Mathematic’s fully equipped and growing Paris and LA based studios are accompanied with a host of talents, including experienced lead 3D Project Managers, 3D VFX artists, animators, lead lighting and 3D renderers. Their dedicated compositing teams include specialized Flame Artists, Shoot Supervisors and a host of in house Nuke, lustre and After FX compositors. MTC’s services include Autodesk Smoke, Flame, Lustre, DaVinci and Final Cut editing suites.
Recent MTC collaborations include their first feature film endeavor. Creative Control, directed by New York based director Benjamin Dickinson, which won best film for its visuals at the SXSW Independent feature film festival. Variety Magazine listed the film as one of the top 10 films to be seen in 2015.
Other achievements include, Best Art Direction at the MTV Video Music Awards 2015 for Snoop Dogg 'So Many Pros' directed by Francois Rousselet, 4 nominations at the MTV Music Video Awards 2014 as well as 2 D&AD Yellow Pencil’s, one for Gesafellstein ‘Pursuit’ for best Special FX and the other for Ivory Movement directed by Fleur and Manu. In advertising Canal+ 'The Stone' wins Silver for Best Cinematography at Clio Awards and Kinsal Shark Awards, O.P.I Instinct of Colors won 3 golds (including best visual effects) and a silver at the Cristal Advertising Festival. Tipp-ex’s Hunter and Bear Series that took home 2 Lions at the prestigious Cannes Advertising Festival 2012. Two wins in differing years for best VFX at the UK MVA’s for Jonas & François’s Audio Bully’s ‘Only Man’ video and Fleur & Manu’s Gesaffelstein ‘Pursuit’. Etienne De Crecy’s No Brain for Fleur & Manu was also awarded a D&AD Silver Pencil with other D&AD accolades for Sebastien Tellier music video ‘Look’ as well as the MTV rebrand in which MTC created 2 idents. Finally, Eurosport brought home a variety of titles at the 2012 PROMAX Broadcast Awards.
