HIGHLIGHTS

MODE

Gucci's creative director, Sabato De Sarno, has left the luxury fashion house after two years in the role. His final collection will be showcased by the Gucci design studio at Milan Fashion Week on February 25, 2025. De Sarno, who joined Gucci in January 2023, had previously worked at Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Valentino. His hiring was part of Gucci's strategy to refresh the brand following the departure of Alessandro Michele in November 2022.

Under De Sarno's leadership, Gucci faced difficulties in regaining its former success. Analysts pointed out that his designs failed to resonate with enough customers, contributing to a decline in sales. Kering, Gucci’s parent company, reported a 15% decrease in third-quarter revenue, reflecting the brand's ongoing challenges.
